Young people must grow up with the correct attitude of freedom, convinced that, "...a person is more precious for what one is than for what one has..."
By giving young people the opportunity to receive correct information and learn how to live by their values, we are enabling them to make the right choices and become responsible and respectful individuals
...Developing young people of Integrity, Service and Good Character - Responsible community members and Leaders of Today and Tomorrow.
Dare to be Different...Say NO to Negative Peer Influence!!!
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed young people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

Supporting and Empowering young people Club members dance with children at Maninga village (orphanage) during a visit Sr. Miriam (Founder - Youth Alive) and Sr. Eunice Quigley (Director- YAZIM) We work with children and young adults aged 7-35, including vulnerable and marginalized groups such as Children living and/or working on the street. Our organisation has been educating young people about their Sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) since 1999; when the organisation was founded in response to the AIDS epidemic. Since that time, Youth Alive has been working with youth through partnerships with schools, churches, government departments and tertiary institutions. The experiences over the years have enabled us to have a strong understanding of youth programming and to be responsive to new needs by developing relevant programmes. Our Programmes have managed to transform young people into confident and responsible individuals.
