Young people must grow up with the correct attitude of freedom, convinced that, "...a person is more precious for what one is than for what one has..."
By giving young people the opportunity to receive correct information and learn how to live by their values, we are enabling them to make the right choices and become responsible and respectful individuals
...Developing young people of Integrity, Service and Good Character - Responsible community members and Leaders of Today and Tomorrow.
Dare to be Different...Say NO to Negative Peer Influence!!!
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed young people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES AND VALUES

At Youth Alive Zimbabwe, we believe that individuals and communities have the inherent capacity to change attitudes and behaviour if placed in an enabling and supportive environment.  In all our work and achievements, our values remain at the centre of what we stand for. Youth Alive is more than an organisation. It is a life style.

As an organisation, we hold the following Principles and Values to be dear:

Integrity

Youth Alive Zimbabwe is consistent in its values, principles and actions. We believe in  truthfulness of actions and we try to instill this in project clients through our programs.

Responsibility

We believe that individuals should take responsibility for their decisions and actions; that they have control over their choices but not the consequences of those choices. As part of the community we believe that it is our collective responsibility to empower vulnerable members with skills for life in the face of HIV and AIDS.

Social Justice
Youth Alive Team

Youth Alive Zimbabwe believes in contributing to the development of a society that is based on the principles of equality and solidarity. We understand and value human rights, and recognize the dignity of every human being.

Professionalism

Our organization regards every process and work with the seriousness it deserves and aims for achievement of set objectives and goals.

Transparency

In all our interactions we strive to maintain openness with participants and partner organisations. This facilitates a favourable environment for organisational and personal growth.

Respect

Regardless of differing world views, we respect the opinions of our target group, partners and stakeholders.
