Young people must grow up with the correct attitude of freedom, convinced that, "...a person is more precious for what one is than for what one has..."
By giving young people the opportunity to receive correct information and learn how to live by their values, we are enabling them to make the right choices and become responsible and respectful individuals
...Developing young people of Integrity, Service and Good Character - Responsible community members and Leaders of Today and Tomorrow.
Dare to be Different...Say NO to Negative Peer Influence!!!
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed young people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

Child Rights and Child Protection (Posters)

Youth Alive continues to contribute towards a safer world for children by sensitizing community members and leaders about the reality of Child abuse and their role in preventing it.

Combined with our input sessions on Child rights and abuse, YAZIM is playing its part in changing perceptions about real child participation and the importance of involving them in matters that affect them.

Behaviour Change Communication - Overcoming Negative Peer Influence (Posters)

Young people are usually easily influenced by the media and what their peers are doing. As a result they may end up dropping out of school, getting pregnant or becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol. Youth Alive has launched a Behaviour Change Communication strategy to help youths resist negative peer pressure. We encourage young people to be different in positive ways, to be comfortable and proud of the good values that they uphold.

Behaviour Change Communication on HIV and AIDS

Behaviour Change Communication is vital in HIV prevention, as such we reinforce our message using informative pamphlets as well as banners during commemorations and awareness campaigns. Our organisation's Behaviour Change Communication strategy is closely aligned to the National Behaviour Change Strategy in HIV prevention.
